John Smith: ”He won’t love you.”
Joan: ”If he’s not you than I won’t want him to. I had a husband and he died. I never thought, ever again…”
John Smith: ”And it was real. I really thought…”


John Smith: ”Did you see?”
Joan: ”The Time Lord has such adventures, but he could never have a life like that.”
John Smith: ”And yet I could.”
